Improve your relationships by spending more time with people, having good fruit, good works and good words. Be patient and let the power of God be evident in your life.

Give honor to all people especially those to whom it is due.

A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.

A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.

25 "These things I have spoken to you while being present with you.  26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

28 Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light."

For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe's household, that there are contentions among you.

1 And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. 2 I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; 3 for you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men?

For I am afraid that when I come I won't like what I find, and you won't like my response. I am afraid that I will find quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly behavior.

A gentle answer deflects anger, but harsh words make tempers flare.

But I tell you, on the day of judgment men will have to give account for every idle (inoperative, nonworking) word they speak.

The tongue of the wise makes knowledge appealing, but the mouth of a fool belches out foolishness.

Gentle words are a tree of life; a deceitful tongue crushes the spirit.

The lips of the wise give good advice; the heart of a fool has none to give.

Mockers hate to be corrected, so they stay away from the wise.

1 My brethren, let not many of you become teachers, knowing that we shall receive a stricter judgment. 2 For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses' mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! 6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity. The tongue is so set among our members that it defiles the whole body, and sets on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire by hell. 7 For every kind of beast and bird, of reptile and creature of the sea, is tamed and has been tamed by mankind. 8 But no man can tame the tongue. It is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. 9 With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? 12 Can a fig tree, my brethren, bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Thus no spring yields both salt water and fresh.

7 Then he left and went to the home of Titius Justus, a Gentile who worshiped God and lived next door to the synagogue. 8 Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, and everyone in his household believed in the Lord. Many others in Corinth also heard Paul, became believers, and were baptized. 9 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, "Don't be afraid! Speak out! Don't be silent! 10 For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me." 11 So Paul stayed there for the next year and a half, teaching the word of God.

A perverse man sows strife, And a whisperer separates the best of friends.

Better a dry crust eaten in peace than a house filled with feasting—and conflict.

20 Fire goes out without wood, and quarrels disappear when gossip stops. 21 A quarrelsome person starts fights as easily as hot embers light charcoal or fire lights wood. 22 Rumors are dainty morsels that sink deep into one's heart.

For I am afraid that when I come I won't like what I find, and you won't like my response. I am afraid that I will find quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly behavior.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

12 When I was with you,
(He spent time with them)
I certainly gave you proof that I am an apostle.
(He had good fruit, good works and good words)
For I patiently did many signs and wonders and miracles among you.
(He was patient and the power of God was evident in his life)

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

37 Jesus said to him, "'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'  38 This is the first and great commandment.  39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'  40 On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets."

18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples."

By this all will know that you are My disciples, IF you have love for one another.
